Advised and supported enterprises in securing their cloud environments by providing expert guidance on Cloud Security, Cloud Threats, risk assessments, and best practices using Wiz’s platform. Successfully ran technical Proof of Values (PoVs) and enterprise sales cycles based on the MEDDPICC framework.

Responsible for helping customers like ASML and Mollie improve their Cloud Security on Google Cloud by performing threat modeling, security assessments, architecting and implementing security solutions (SCC, WAF, IDS, SIEM), and delivering technical trainings. Awarded Google Cloud Partner All-Stars 2022 for excellence in Solution Engineering & Delivery.

As Practice Lead, I was responsible for developing our Security services, partnerships, and authority mission as Xebia Cloud Security. As Team Lead, I coached a team of five Security Engineers in developing and becoming the best version of themselves, while also co-organizing the Google Cloud User Group Benelux.

Worked as a Google Cloud Consultant helping customers design secure and cost-efficient Cloud architectures, alongside managed secure hosting on Google Cloud. Assessed on-premise VMware-based infrastructure and migrated (lift-and-shift and redesign) workloads to the Google Cloud Platform. Trained customer IT team members and gave guest lectures about Cloud Security to students.

Advised organizations and executed threat and vulnerability assessments across networks and infrastructure. Implemented security solutions including Next-Gen Firewalls, SIEM, and NAC to improve enterprise IT security.

At PwC, served as a trusted advisor on Cybersecurity topics including Global MFA, IAM, PKI platform replacement, and security (de)provisioning of user access for customers ABN AMRO, ING, and SURFnet.

Advised organizations on IT security, infrastructure architecture, and transitioning from traditional on-premise environments to secure cloud platforms while sharing technical insights on Jorgeliauw.nl.

As Information Analyst at CGI in Nederland, I was responsible for requirements engineering, functional designs, and RFIs/RFPs. Worked on enterprise projects for the following great customers:

Designed and analyzed mission-critical banking and securities processing systems (Clearing & Settlement) for institutional financial services at KAS BANK N.V.

Designed and implemented mission-critical enterprise integration solutions and workflows in TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks (AMX) and TIBCO BPM for customers including Van Gansewinkel, Alfam Consumer Credit, NN, and ING.

Ran our own early version of what would become modern Cloud infrastructure. At Deviate VOF, we operated multiple servers across two datacenters connected via a secure interconnect with a hypervisor layer capable of automated Virtual Machine failover between datacenters—delivering non-stop high availability for mobile application workloads.

Founded my own IT consultancy designing, securing, and managing reliable on-premise servers, networks, and workstation environments for healthcare practices (doctors and dentists) and SMB organizations.
